Rubbed With: Sea Salt, Dehydrated Garlic, Spices, Dehydrated Onion, Dextrose, Tapioca Starch, Maltodextrin, Natural Flavors, Natural Smoke Flavor.
Directions
Cook thoroughly. Keep refrigerated. Cooking Directions: Cook Smithfield Fresh Pork to an internal end temperature of 150 degrees F, when measured in the thickest part of the meat. Note: For best results cook seasoned carnita meat to 200 degrees F. Slow Cooker: Place seasoned carnita meat in a 2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Pour 1/2 cup water, into pot and gently stir to break apart meat cubes and mix with the water. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (high: 3-4 hours). Use tongs to break pieces of meat into shreds of pork and mix with juices. Oven: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Arrange seasoned carnita meat in single layer in 13x9x2-inch baking pan; cover pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake about 2 to 3 hours until fork tender. Use tongs or fork to press pork cubes into shreds and mix with juices. Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. - Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.
