Directions: Gas grills: 1. Fill a reusable smoker tray or a foil pouch with two to three handfuls of wood chips. 2. Place the tray or pouch directly over the hottest burner until it begins to smoke. 3. Using tongs, move it to one side to make room for the food. Tips: the chips will smoke for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Be sure to have a second pouch or smoker tray ready when cooking for longer periods of time. Use dry chips to get smoking quickly, but keep a spray bottle handy for flare ups. Cook with the lid closed or use a smoke dome for more intense smoke flavor. Charcoal grills: 1. Light grill and prepare the coals as you normally would. 2. Place chips in a smoker tray or foil pouch and place directly above the coals on the cooking grid until it begins to smoke. 3. Using tongs, move it to one side to make room for the food. Tips: the smoker tray or pouch can also be placed directly on or next to the coals under the cooking grid. For a fast burst of smoke, throw dry chips directly onto your already prepared Kingsford charcoal. The chips will flare up and smoke quickly. With an optional Instacart+ membership, you can get $0 delivery fee on every order over $35 and lower service fees too.
Instacart pickup cost:
- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:
- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
