Joining Our Table: Meet Instacart’s Newest Product Leaders
Our mission is to create a world where everyone has access to the food they love and more time to enjoy it together. We do this by making online grocery shopping effortless and affordable. To help support Instacart’s next chapter of product development and innovation, we’re proud to welcome four seasoned leaders to our team — Nikila Srinivasan (VP of Product, International), David McIntosh (VP of Product, Retailer), Max Eulenstein (VP of Product, Instacart App), and Daniel Danker (VP of Product, Shopper & Fulfillment). Nikila, David, Max, and Daniel are reporting to Asha Sharma, Instacart’s Chief Operating Officer, who joined the company in February.
Meet Nikila Srinivasan VP of Product, International
Grocery is the world’s largest retail category, but it’s still in the early stages of its digital transformation. We’re continuing to invest deeply in the $1.3 trillion North American grocery industry, and today we’re excited to announce our global ambitions as we welcome Nikila Srinivasan as our VP of Product, International. Nikila will lead the development of our long-term global strategy as we explore potential future market expansions. She comes to Instacart from Facebook where she spent her tenure focused on small and medium businesses, advertiser growth and creating exceptional product experiences for businesses in emerging markets. During her time at Facebook, Nikila was responsible for growing the platform to 180 million small businesses and 10 million advertisers. As part of her work to increase Facebook’s presence in emerging and international markets, Nikila was also part of the team responsible for building and scaling two international locations in London and Asia-Pacific. Most recently at Facebook, she was the Senior Director and Head of Consumer Product for Communities where she led key product lines such as Facebook Groups, Events, Dating, and new bets to connect communities. Prior to Facebook, she spent time at startups including in India.

Meet David McIntosh, VP of Product, Retailer
Over the years, Instacart has remained relentlessly focused on serving as a chief ally to more than 600 national, regional and local retailers across North America. As we continue to support retailers of all sizes and help them meet the needs of their customers, we’re excited to welcome David McIntosh as our VP of Product, Retailer. At Instacart, David will lead our Retailer product group focused on developing Instacart marketplace and enterprise services, as well as new verticals, that further support the e-commerce needs of retailers so they can continue to serve their customers no matter how they choose to shop. Prior to Instacart, David was the founder and CEO of Tenor, a Google-acquired expression (GIF) search engine and global content marketplace with hundreds of millions of users and integrations with apps such as Apple iMessage, Google’s Gboard, Messenger, Twitter, and thousands more. Before Tenor, David founded Redux while attending UC Berkeley, which was acquired by CrunchyRoll.

Meet Max Eulenstein, VP of Product, Instacart App
Solving for the customer is at the core of everything we do at Instacart, and we’re focused on building the best online grocery shopping experience possible by helping customers instantly connect with and shop from hundreds of retailers. To help lead this work, in March we welcomed Max Eulenstein as our VP of Product, Instacart App. In his role, Max is focused on developing our consumer-facing marketplace app and services to ensure we’re delivering a great experience to the millions of people who rely on Instacart to access the fresh groceries and household essentials they need. Prior to Instacart, Max spent nearly 10 years at Facebook where he focused on product management, working across a number of areas of the business including Stories, News Feed, and Mobile App Ads. Most recently, Max was the Senior Director of Product for Instagram Community, which focuses on growth, well-being, and the product experiences that build meaningful communities.

To drive the next evolution of our product experiences and services for shoppers, as well as our operations and logistics supporting this important community, we welcomed Daniel Danker to Instacart in March as our new VP of Product, Shopper & Fulfillment.
