Rum daiquiri recipes

Daiquiris are the perfect drink for relaxing poolside or catching a sunset on the beach. There are tons of different variations, but here are our personal favorites.

1. Classic daiquiri

Glass of a Daiquiri cocktail decorated with lime slice and berry on a skewer standing on the bar counter on the blurred background.

A classic daiquiri is made with 3 simple ingredients: homemade simple syrup, rum, and fresh-squeezed lime juice. It should have the perfect balance of sweet and sour, so you may need to experiment with the ratios so you can create one that best suits your tastes.

2. Strawberry daiquiri

Most recipes combine frozen strawberries, sugar, rum, lemon juice, and lime juice. After blending it all together, top it off with a splash of lemon-lime soda. A word of caution: these go down smooth!

3. Banana daiquiri

This tasty banana daiquiri combines coconut milk, bananas, sugar, lime juice, and white rum. Blend it and enjoy a creamy, refreshing drink.

4. Frozen mango daiquiri

Looking for a taste of the tropics? Fall in love with this delicious frozen mango daiquiri. Made with frozen mango cubes, orange-flavored triple sec liqueur, aged rum, and lime juice, it has a smooth texture and a sunny, exotic flavor.

Mojito recipes

A traditional Cuban cocktail, the mojito is another refreshing beverage perfect for the summer months. Whether you prefer the classic or one with an extra kick, don’t be shocked if you end up making each recipe at least once.

1. Classic mojito

Refreshing cocktail with lime and mint on a white wooden table.

To make a traditional mojito, start by muddling 3 of the primary mojito ingredients: mint leaves, sugar, and a lime wedge. Fill the glass with ice, add your rum, and top it off with some carbonated water.

2. Watermelon mojito

Watermelon lovers rejoice! Made almost the same way as a classic mojito, start by muddling watermelon chunks, lime juice, and sugar. Add some white rum and mint leaves, then top it off with a bit of ginger ale.

3. Limoncello mojito

A mojito with a kick, follow the classic recipe but add a shot of limoncello. The bright lemon flavor pairs perfectly with the lime and rum, making this the perfect drink to serve at brunch or a daytime party.

4. Coconut mojito

Coconut, mint, and rum make an unforgettable flavor profile. This sweet, creamy drink combines white rum, coconut rum, brown sugar, and cream of coconut with lemon juice, mint leaves, and club soda.

Piña colada recipes
