Launching Instacart Ads Academy — Register Now!

A new self-paced learning program covering Instacart Ads is now freely available

At Instacart, we look to empower our partners and stakeholders with technology and expertise to achieve great things. Recently, we developed a self-paced online training and certification program, called Ads Academy, and provided it to our agency partners. The program was designed to empower them to learn and champion their expertise in Instacart Ads products and capabilities.

We’ve had more than 20 of our agency partners participate, including WPP’s GroupM, The Mars Agency, Publicis, Skai, and Tinuiti. Today, we’re making Ads Academy available to all of our advertisers and brand partners – from category leaders to emerging brands.

Ads Academy provides learners with everything they need to know to run ad campaigns on Instacart in an entirely self-serve, self-paced, online learning environment. The program provides engaging, multimedia lessons which introduce learners to Instacart and Instacart Ads before going in-depth on the ins and outs of our different ad formats, including sponsored product, display, shoppable display, and shoppable video ads. Ads Academy also covers all our tools, like Ads Manager, Product Library, and Customer Insights.

Ads Academy provides a flexible learning environment where you can progress through one of two learning paths, consisting of multiple lessons, at your own pace before testing your knowledge against a multiple-choice certification exam.

Sign up at ads-academy.atinstacart.com to get started. Once registered, you’ll receive an email to verify your email address and complete your account setup. Once set up and logged in, navigate to Catalog, select Learning Paths and pick either The Fundamentals or Fundamentals + Platform.

While we’ve designed the lessons for those new to Instacart Ads, they can function as a great refresher for anyone already familiar with our ad formats and tools. Leverage Ads Academy to onboard new staff that need to know how Instacart Ads work; learn about the benefits of a new ad format you plan on trying out; gain best-in-class Instacart skills and expertise to reach consumers throughout the shopping journey on Instacart; or if you’re simply curious about Instacart Ads and would like to know more, Ads Academy is freely available to all our stakeholders.
