Yo Mama’s Foods Increase Sales 192% YoY

Yo Mama’s Foods, launched on Mother’s Day 2017, makes pasta sauces, salad dressings, and condiments using traditional ingredients. In their words, they proudly craft their products using only ingredients that Mom has in her kitchen.

Yo Mama’s Foods launched their first ad campaign on Instacart in August of 2023. Recognizing Instacart’s transformative impact on grocery shopping habits, they made the strategic decision to adapt and explore advertising avenues with Instacart. 

“Advertising on Instacart was a key decision, as it’s important for us to align our marketing efforts with the shopping habits of today’s consumers,” said Kristen Streger, Brand Manager. 

For Yo Mama’s Foods, ecommerce channels like Instacart represent a growing part of the business, enabling them to reach incremental customers that they would not have been able to otherwise. Yo Mama’s Foods recognized that as consumers change how they shop, it’s important to adapt. 

Fantastic Results with Instacart Ads

“We’ve witnessed fantastic results on Instacart. Our return on ad spend and new customer acquisition rates have never been better,” said Streger. After starting to advertise on Instacart in 2023, Yo Mama’s Foods saw a 192% increase in sales YoY.
