Instacart Launches ‘Stress Baster’ for Holiday Hosts Feeling the Squeeze
Free Stress Baster drop gives hosts the “utensils” to cope with holiday stress and to remind you that “Yule Be Fine, man”
Ah, the holidays – a time for joy, cheer, and, if you’re a first-time host, seasonal stress. With so many things to plan and consider – from the dinner menu to how to handle in-laws – it’s no wonder so many are feeling the squeeze. But fear not, because Instacart has teamed up with Actress and Comedian Chloe Fineman from SNL to launch a one-of-a-kind “Stress Baster” – or the stress-ball-turkey-baster-in-one – which is just one part of Instacart’s larger holiday campaign to reassure everyone that Yule Be Fine, man.
As part of Instacart’s Yule Be Fine campaign, Chloe encourages holiday hosts feeling the squeeze to squeeze right back with the launch of the limited-edition Stress Baster. To make this kitchenware essential, Instacart partnered with Staff. Only the first 2,000 people will be able to get their hands on the complimentary baster – available via Instacart’s Instagram and TikTok, and at www.stressbaster.com while supplies last on Tuesday, December 10th at 9:00 am EST.
“Instacart’s Yule Be Fine campaign featuring Chloe Fineman brings some much-needed comedic relief and encouragement to first-time hosts, reminding them that we’re all going to get through the holidays together,” said Laura Jones, Chief Marketing Officer at Instacart. “We want first-time hosts to know that we’re here for them this holiday season and our limited-edition Stress Baster is a unique solution that combines practicality and stress relief, with a side of humor.”
Yule Be Fine launched on Instagram and TikTok on December 5 with a video of Chloe in her kitchen prepping for a holiday party. In it, she explains that holidays can be crazy, especially for first time hosts, but Instacart is here to help all season long. The video ends with an encouraging reminder that, “yule be fine, man” – a humorous homage to Chloe’s last name. The campaign will also include everything from mantras and a pre-party pep talk to a DM (host)line with Chloe.
“This holiday season, I’m planning to spend time with my family and will be using Instacart to take some of the stress out of shopping,” said Chloe Fineman. “If there’s a few items I need here and there – everything from last-minute ingredients and beverages to storage containers for organizing and even the turkey roasting tray – I can use Instacart to get it all in as fast as an hour. I love being able to take some of the stress out of the holidays so my family and I can actually enjoy it.”
