Instacart & Streetwear Fashion Designer Anwar Carrots Launch Limited Edition Collection Exclusively On NTWRK App

This year marks a decade of Instacart delivering on our mission to create a world where everyone has access to the food they love and more time to enjoy it together. In celebration of where we’ve been and where we’re headed next, today we’re excited to announce a first-ever collaboration with renowned designer Anwar Carrots, founder of the coveted Peas and Carrots streetwear fashion and accessories brand. The limited edition capsule collection celebrates Instacart and Anwar’s shared affinity for the carrot icon and will be sold exclusively on NTWRK, the premier North American livestream shopping platform for Gen Z and millennials, during an August 5 episode featuring Anwar on the NTWRK app.
The four-piece capsule collection is designed for summertime fun, and includes an on-the-go tote bag, water bottle, long sleeve tee-shirt, and bucket hat, each designed by Anwar. Only a limited quantity of 100 will be available for purchase in the U.S. via NTWRK. In honor of Anwar’s Los Angeles roots, a limited number of people in the Los Angeles area will receive the collection the same day with the help of Instacart. What’s more, all proceeds from the Instacart by Anwar Carrots collection, up to $10,000, will be donated to Feeding America®, which Instacart has partnered with for nearly four years.
“Instacart and I share a love of taking care of others – for me, it’s my family,” said Anwar Carrots. “My household has run on Instacart for a long time, so it’s been a dream of mine to work with the brand and merge our love for the carrot. This special collection is an ode to all of the caretakers out there showing up and providing for their loved ones.”
Anwar Carrots is a leader in the streetwear fashion scene in Los Angeles since the debut of the Carrots by Anwar Carrots line in 2015, and continues to inspire his fans with his dynamic approach to style and creativity. During the episode, Anwar and NTWRK host Kylie Mar will show off the custom collection and discuss the last 10 years of food, culture, careers, and community.
“Instacart has become more and more of a household name over the last ten years as we’ve grown from powering the technology that enables grocery delivery to other essentials to millions of families across North America,” said Rogelio Magana, director of brand strategy at Instacart. “When we met with Anwar and the Carrots team, we knew immediately that teaming up would be a perfect way to pay homage to our shared carrot heritage and help usher in the next generation of the Instacart community. Streetwear culture drives broader youth culture and there’s no designer better suited to introduce Instacart to new audiences than Anwar.”
“We’re excited to kick off our first partnership with Instacart and celebrate 10 years of its innovative platform with this special episode and live drop from Anwar Carrots,” said Aaron Levant, chief executive officer at NTWRK. “As a father, designer, entrepreneur, foodie and avid Instacart customer, Anwar’s close affinity to the brand takes this partnership to the next level, and we’re excited to bring it to the NTWRK audience.”
The Instacart by Anwar Carrots Collection will be shoppable via the NTWRK app on Friday, August 5 beginning at 11:30 a.m. PT. Download the NTWRK app and follow the brands at @instacart, @anwarcarrots, and @ntwrk.
