Joining Our Table: Meet Christina Hall and Ariel Bardin

We’re excited to welcome two new senior leaders to Instacart — Christina Hall, who has joined us as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO); and Ariel Bardin, who will join as Senior Vice President of Product later this month. Christina and Ariel join us as our teams continue to focus on meeting the increased consumer demand for Instacart’s online grocery delivery and pickup services across the U.S. and Canada.

Meet Christina Hall, Chief Human Resources Officer

Christina Hall joins Instacart as Chief Human Resources Officer

As Instacart’s first CHRO, Christina Hall will scale and support Instacart’s teams across North America with a focus on building a holistic people and talent strategy designed to attract, retain, and develop employees. Christina brings to Instacart more than 20 years of experience advancing talent goals at high-performing tech companies. She most recently served as Chief People Officer at LinkedIn and previously held key human resources roles at Facebook and Intuit. At Instacart, she will oversee the company’s Human Resources, Recruiting, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion functions. You can read more from Christina about what she’s excited to dive into here on LinkedIn

Meet Ariel Bardin, Senior Vice President of Product

As part of the company’s continued investment in product development, we also announced today the appointment of Ariel Bardin as Senior Vice President of Product. Ariel comes to Instacart following more than 15 years at Google, where he most recently oversaw YouTube’s full suite of creator products as Vice President of Product Management for YouTube. Prior to YouTube, Ariel was responsible for product strategy and business development for Google Payments, and spent nearly a decade as a leader for Google AdWords. At Instacart, he will oversee our Consumer, Enterprise and Advertising Product teams and development.

We’re excited to add Christina and Ariel to Instacart’s leadership team to help support our next chapter of growth as we continue to find ways to deliver even more value for customers, shoppers and partners across North America.

You can read more on today’s announcement here, and check out what’s in Christina and Ariel’s carts below!

What’s always in Ariel’s cart? He’s heating up his grocery game with fresno peppers for family burrito night.

The item you’ll always find in Christina’s cart is basil, for her many Italian-esque dinners.
