Paws, Camera, Action: Celebrate Your Pet with the Purina and Instacart ‘Pawliday’ Photo Contest 

 Enter Your Best Holiday Pet Pics Now for an Opportunity to Win $500 in Purina and Instacart Prizes

This holiday season, Instacart and Purina are teaming up to celebrate the family members who turn our lives into a whisker wonderland: Our pets! Starting today, pet parents can submit festive holiday photos of their pets for an opportunity to win Purina and Instacart prizes – and bragging rights, of course. 

Whether they’re nestling under the tree, cozying up in a winter sweater, or just being their adorable, quirky selves, we want to see those holiday moments captured in all their glory. The Pawliday Contest is now accepting submissions until December 13, 2023 with winners being announced on December 22, 2023.

How to enter:

  1. Snap a picture of your pet in their most festive holiday gear or striking a pose full of holiday cheer.
  2. Upload the photo at www.pawlidaycontest.com/ 
  3. Get ready for your fur baby to potentially be crowned “Best in Show” and win $500 in Purina and Instacart prizes. Other entries have the opportunity to win over $150 in Purina and Instacart prizes.

Instacart is all about offering customers more selection and ways to get exactly what they need when they need it, especially during the holidays. With more than 1,400 retail banners, Instacart gives people plenty of choices when shopping for their pets. In fact, according to Instacart purchase data from 2022, the number one non-food, last-minute item customers shopped via Instacart the most last year on Christmas Eve were “dog treats.”

“The holidays are a great time to celebrate the bond between pet parents and their pets, and we’re excited to kick off this year’s Pawliday Contest with Instacart, building on the success we had last year,” said Darrah Stevens, eBusiness Account Manager at Purina. “By partnering with Instacart, we’re helping our pet parents create lasting memories, get the Purina products they need, and spread a little extra ‘Pawliday’ joy this holiday season.”

Alongside the contest, Purina and Instacart are also helping people discover and shop all their favorite Purina products with display banners across Instacart. Consumers will also see a Purina “Stock Up and Save” promotion giving them more chances to save on Instacart. This holiday season, Instacart is proud to partner with Purina to showcase the perfect Purina stocking stuffers or under-the-tree gifts for pets with delivery in as fast as an hour. 

Purina and Instacart have partnered since 2016 with Purina leveraging Instacart’s expansive suite of advertising technologies and tools to reach pet parents. With Instacart Ads, Purina is inspiring and connecting with consumers throughout the entire shopping journey on Instacart. Last year, Instacart and Purina delivered the first co-marketing, user-generated contest with the first annual Pawliday Pet Pics Contest. The 2022 contest garnered thousands of pet photo entries and reached millions of consumers.
