Directions
Nishiki Multi Grain Cooking Directions: When mixing Nishiki multi-grain with Nishiki white rice: combine 1-1/2 cups Nishiki white rice and ¼ cup Nishiki multi grain in a medium saucepan. Add in 2-1/2 cups of water, and gently mix. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes before cooking. When ready, bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes. Fluff and serve. Note: If using an electric rice cooker, combine 1-1/2 cups Nishiki white rice and cup Nishiki multi grain in 1/4 cup Nishiki Multi Grain electric rice cooker pot. Add in 2-1/2 cups of water, and gently mix. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Continue as directed by rice cooker manufacturer. For Nishiki Multi-Grain On: Combine 1 cup of Nishiki multi grain and 1-1/2 cup of water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes. Fluff and serve. Just add ¼ cup of seven grains mix 1-1/2 cups of white rice.
