Del Maguey Puebla is a special 40% ABV edition Single Village Mezcal, crafted through artisanal methods in a state-of-the-art mezcal distillery in Axocopan, Puebla. This expression brings the heritage of Vida Clasico, traditionally produced by the Cruz Nolasco family of San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, to the base of the volcano Popocatépetl, known as the “Smoking Mountain.” Ripe agaves from Puebla are roasted underground, naturally fermented in the local environment rich with volcanic minerals, and twice distilled in small copper stills. Your Mezcal journey begins here: try this in one of our suggested cocktail as your first step towards discovery. We recommend a Carajillo or a Mezcal Mule!
Directions
Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal is a beverage to be savored. Sip it. Don’t shoot it. “Stigibeu” – a term meaning, “For Mother Earth and our ancestors” — is the traditional Zapotec gratitude invoked before sharing a ritual pour of Mezcal together
