How to pay with your FSA/HSA card on Instacart

1. Add your FSA/HSA card
Go to your Account Settings to add your FSA/HSA card as a payment method. One FSA/HSA card per account.

2. Shop for eligible items
Eligible items, such as over the counter medications or skin care products, are marked with a “FSA/HSA” label. You can add non-eligible items to your cart too.

3. Check out with FSA/HSA
At checkout make sure FSA/HSA is selected as a payment method. We’ll charge your backup method for any non-eligible items.

Yes, and if you have an FSA/HSA provider, you can submit the receipt and work with them to reimburse eligible items.
Certain items and components of your order (like tip) are not considered eligible for FSA/HSA.
FSA/HSA eligible replacements will be charged on your FSA/HSA card up to the initially authorized amount. The rest (along with other ineligible items and charges) will go toward your backup payment method.
