I see some folks have had the same complaint/inquiry. I have purchased these forever, and never had a problem....however this last bag (bested if used by May 10, 2021), some of the biscuits seem to not rise and are hard as a rock. For example, last night, January 31, 2021, tray of 4 baked per the instructions. Outcome: 2 were good, the other 2 hard as rocks. Did something change in the recipe?

I'm 65 years old and have eaten every type of biscuit made in America. Grands Homestyle Buttermilk biscuits are without a doubt some of the best biscuits I have ever eaten; in fact, it is better than anything the chain breakfast places can bake. You'd have to go to a private eatery where they have a real baker to get anything that rivals Grand's Homestyle Buttermilk biscuits. Reminds me of biscuits my grandmother used to make on her farm when I was little, when food was real.

I've always raved over these biscuits until recently and enjoyed them because of how convenient they are as well as they taste like fresh biscuits, however recently my last two bags have been disappointing. When removed from oven they have been hard at the top. sadly I had to throw my last batch in the trash. Have you changed the recipe or what is the issue?

Have these biscuits become smaller in size. I got the grands but the biscuits seem smaller than usual. Even my wife agrees that the biscuits are smaller. She believes inflation has deflated the size of the biscuit so consumers will not have to spend more.

Love refrigerated Grands, however the frozen bag is a bad idea with no individual packaging. Upon opening the bag, one giant lump of frozen biscuits came out, impossible to separate. After trying to thaw, became a sticky mess that tore every biscuit. Just threw away. Will stick to refrigerated tube.

A first time buy (and last) due to the insane amount of salt (sodium) in each biscuit, which made it impossible to enjoy this product. I expect a well-established brand to be more health-conscious and responsible. The only positive thing during this disappointing experience was the biscuits rising beautifully while baking at 325F-350F.

Directions on the package looked simple. I thought worth a try. Big mistake. Just threw money away. Puchased at Harps, Dexter Missouri. They came out of the bag as a solid lump, almost impossible to pry apart. Added five minutes to cooking time to brown at 375. Let cool. Almost impossible to pull apart for jelly and butter. Crumbled and no even seperation. Threw half the bag away. Never again.
