        Changing the recipe ruined it!

        I’ve been using this sauce for 15 years and the recent changes to the recipe (removing carrot fiber and adding potato starch) has ruined everything. When I cook the sauce on the stove it is burning on to the pan and not thickening properly. It’s definitely the sauce as I’ve changed everything else out, it’s not the pan, burner or spices. Unfortunately I’m going to have to find a new brand of sauce as you’ve added the starch to all your sauce flavors.

        I also noticed the difference immediately. The sauce sticks to a spoon like glue. The fresh tomato taste is gone. I was not surprised to see others notice. We will not buy Hunts canned sauce anymore. Please bring back the old recipe.

        We have been using this sauce for years. It has been our go to sauce! Had it tonight and something didn't taste right. We checked the can, and compared it to an older can we had in the pantry, ingredients have changed. YUCK YUCK YUCK! Have been loyal Garlic and Herb Hunt's buyers for 10 plus years. The new formula is DISGUSTING. We will not be buying this anymore.

        I’ve been buying this product for years to use in my spaghettis sauce recipe. I’ve noticed the taste and consistency of the canned sauce has changed and not for the better. It’s thicker and gross. I wish I had saved an older can of sauce to compare ingredients. I noticed on the new can it has sorbitol, has that always been in there? I don’t remember seeing it before. I definitely won’t be buying this new mess anymore.

        I noticed a change in appearance and taste a few months ago. It’s a darker color, too thick after it’s heated, and no flavor. You used to see the pieces garlic and the herbs. I looked this product up to find out if there were any changes and found many bad reviews. One mentioned that they added potato starch. Why? Take it out; you have ruined a product that had been fine for 30 years. I’m not wasting my money on this product ever again. Why make changes when they are not needed?

        This used to be my favorite sauce. I'd buy it by the case. Since the recipe has changed, it's awful. Thick, totally different texture, much less flavor. If this doesn't go back to the old formula, I'll find something else because the new version, for me, is not edible.

        I was so excited for spaghetti tonight with my favorite sauce. Since my husband made dinner tonight I asked him him if he changed sauces. He did not. It was the same Hunts Garlic and Herb can but not the same sauce. It was so thick and tastes like tomato paste, no flavor. Then I googled if they changed the recipe and found all these reviews, which I agree with. I too, will not buy this product again unless they change it back to what it used to be. D

        I used to love this sauce for years. It used to be flavourful, seasoned and delicious and now it has no flavour and tastes disgusting.         [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The garlic and herb Hunt's pasta sauce is my family's favorite pasta sauce. I add diced onions and diced green bell peppers, pour over some angel hair pasta. It is a little on the thin side for some people but that doesn't bother us, it's still a great pasta sauce and great flavor, It's always in my pantry.

        I have been using Hunts garlic and herb spaghetti sauce for over 20 years. I bought it about a month ago and it was disgusting!!!!! I bought it again, I guess I was in denial, and again it was diagustngness fornlsck of a better word. I can't relay how disappointed I am. I will never buy it again- I have wastwd a whole dinner as I cannot fees thisngaebage to my family. Please bring the old recipe back and make an announcement about the old recipe coming back. If you Dont, I will never take the chance and buy it again!! I know you must be losing a lot of money over this new recipe! 🤦🏽‍♀️
