Directions
Keep frozen. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160 degrees F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. Microwave: 1. Place pouch on microwavable plate. Cut small slit in center. 2. Microwave on high according to chart until thoroughly cooked. 3. Let stand 1 minute. Caution: Hot! Cut off end of pouch; empty squash into serving dish. Spoon remaining squash from pouch. Stir. Microwave Wattage (Microwave wattages vary; adjust cook time for the wattage of your microwave. Do not leave microwave unattended.): 1200 (Time on High: 5-1/2 to 6 minutes); 1000 (6-1/2 to 8-1/2 minutes; 700 (8-1/2 to 9 minutes). Stove-Top: Place unopened pouch in 3-quart saucepan of vigorously boiling water. Boil uncovered 27 minutes, turning after 14 minutes, until thoroughly cooked. Caution: Hot! Cut off end of pouch; empty into serving dish. Stir.
