La Pasta Di Gragnano. We have made our pasta for over 200 years in the town of Gragnano, Italy, known as the birthplace of pasta. Fresh spring water, sunny weather and the nearby sea make this hill the perfect area in all of Italy for making pasta. We use traditional bronze dye to give our pasta a coarse and porous texture so your sauce will cling better to it. Only our finest semolina wheat can guarantee a superior aesthetic, flavor and color. Our premium Garofalo #14 Bucatini resembles large spaghetti, but has a hole in the middle that's more typical of a short pasta. This long bronze-drawn pasta combines the taste and color of wheat with strong and simple condiments such as cacio e pepe, carbonara, and the traditional amatriciana and cooks in 9 minutes. Garofalo Bucatini is Non-GMO Project Verified, Certified Kosher, suitable for vegetarians, and packaged in a 1lb bag. All Garofalo products are Certified IGP (Identificazione Geografica Protetta - Geographic Protection) ensuring high-quality pasta produced in Gragnano, Italy.
