A loosely spiraled "cork-screw" shape, Cellentani is as delightful to look at as it is to eat. With its tubular center and ridged surface, Cellentani is perfect for any hearty pasta meal.
Medium Shells are Barilla's smallest shell-shaped pasta and were inspired by the seaside towns of Naples and Genoa.
The robustness of Cellentani makes it a great complement for chunky vegetables or beans, and delivers a rich, nutty flavor in every bite.
With a 'cup-shaped' opening and delicate ridges, Medium Shells perfectly capture the pasta sauce they are served with.
Ingredients
Semolina (wheat), Durum Wheat Flour. Vitamins/minerals: Vitamin B3 (niacin), Iron (ferrous Sulfate), Vitamin B1 (thiamine Mononitrate), Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), Folic Acid.
Directions
1.Bring 4 - 6 quarts of water to a rolling boil, add salt to taste.
2. Add contents of package to boiling water. Stir gently.
3. Return to a boil. For authentic "al dente" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 11 minutes for Cellentani or 8 minutes for Medium Shells. For more tender pasta, boil an additional 1 minute.
4. Remove from heat. Drain well.
5. Serve immediately with your favorite Barilla sauce.
