Details

Directions

Apply: 1. Clean surface with rubbing alcohol. Do not use household cleaners. 2. Separate strips. Press strips together until they click. Each pair of strips hold 1 lb. 3. Remove black liners. Press each pair of strips as shown. Press firmly. 4. Remove remaining liners and press frame on wall. Press each side firmly for 30 sec. 5. To ensure adhesive hold, grab bottom corners and peel frame from wall. Do not pull straight off. Press each strip firmly for 30 seconds. 6. Wait 1 hour to reattach frame. Line up frame with strips on wall and press until each pair of strips click. Remove: 1. Grab bottom of corners and peel frame from wall. Do not pull straight off. 2. Never pull the strip towards you! Always pull straight down. 3. Stretch the strip slowly against the wall at least 6 inches to release.

Wait 7 days after painting before use. Do not apply strips to paper or soft surfaces on frame. Remove hanging hardware from back of frame. Failure to follow instructions carefully may cause damage.

    I followed all the instructions and after 20-30 minutes the frame came loose and crashed on the floor! I lost a frame worth $38 because of this thing! Plus the $11 for the hanging strips themselves. Very disappointed! Do not recommend!

    I don’t recommend these for hanging anything on your wall. The picture and plaques fell immediately. This package said the strips would hold up to 16 lbs but truly didn’t even hold a 1 lb picture.

    I recently bought two packs of the medium and large picture hangers. I've previously used these with absolutely no problems, but these new packs do not stick at all! Absolute waste of money. I ended up having several pictures fall and had to try to use additional strips. I ended up wasting more than I used.

    Incredibly disappointed and upset, we used 4 large strips to hang a photo and that same day at 1am we hear a large crash. We got up and found our picture had fallen and completely shattered and damaged our walls and baseboard. We now have to pay to fix the damages and also have to find a new custom frame for our photo.

    Worst product ever. I gave my daughter so much trouble this summer for putting LED lights that took all the paint of her walls and I had to pay a contractor to come fix it.. I decided to hang up my other child’s LED Lights. Thought I’d be smart and use 3m wall safe adhesive. Well, they don’t work at all. Little to say, I’m getting a contractor in to fix the wall!

    Do not buy! I had great expectations, but I am very disappointed. I have tried the picture hanging strips with numerous pictures (way under the weight limit) and they always end up falling down! These command strips do not work at all!

    We had great expectations for this product but we just used it and we are freaking out! We followed instructions exactly, although, to be completely honest, we only used two of the four because we were hanging an extremely lightweight print — maybe 8 ounces. See attached photo for result.

    It's easy to use. But, if you are hanging a frame with any weight to it, you need to use at least 8 sets of strips. I've had several frames fall off the wall and am now replacing large heavy frames with lightweight poster frames which I hope these strips will work well with. My walls are concrete and this is my only option.
