cooking directions - stir macaroni into 6 cups boiling water. Boil rapidly 7 to 10 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Drain. Add 1/4 cup margarine (or butter), 1/4 cup 2% milk and contents of sauce packet. Mix well. Recipe - western mac - 1 package (7.25 oz) weis macaroni & cheese, 1.5 lbs ground beef, 1 cup sliced celery, 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1-15.25 oz can whole kernel corn (drained), 1-6 oz can tomato paste, 1 cup water, 2 teaspoons salt, dash of black pepper. Prepare weis macaroni & cheese according to package directions. Brown ground beef, celery, green pepper, and onion, cooking until ground beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; Drain. Stir in drained corn, tomato paste, water, salt, and pepper. Add prepared macaroni & cheese and mix well. Pour into a 4-quart casserole and bake at 350°f for 15-20 minutes. Serve.
