Usually this type of ice cream bars have that dark chocolate which kind of draws me away from them. But Häagen-Dazs has really nailed it with the milk chocolate and almonds. The ice cream is creamy with a excellent vanilla taste. The only bad thing about these bars is that they don't last long. I ate the entire box in one night!

        The flavor of these bars have changed and now taste awful. The ice cream is flavorless and tastes like ice milk or “frozen dairy dessert.” The chocolate and almonds are also flavorless. There is also a weird taste to the ice cream that is hard to describe. Bring back the old recipe. The price has remained the same and the quality has gone downhill. I would rather pay more money and receive quality.

        This was our favorite ice cream, we can buy it everywhere and it is gluten free which is very important for my kids diet, but the latest packaging doesn’t have the gluten free label. Actually I can find two different packaging with same ice cream one labeled Gluten free, one is not. Why is this? What is the difference?

These vanilla milk chocolate almond ice cream bars really did the trick! I think we both loved the crunch of the almonds in the chocolate, but it was still so easy to bite into and get to the tasty vanilla ice cream inside. They were a very good size and fulfilled our craving for chocolate, ice cream, and crunchy almond shell. I can see us getting these more often, but maybe switching to the mini version that allows for six bars per package instead of three! There isn’t a ton of nutritional value, but it was a simple indulgent treat that is going to be good in moderation!
