Directions

Yield: One 9 x 13 inch pan of lasagna (Serves 12). Time: 20 minutes to assemble, 75 minutes to bake, 10 minutes to rest. Ingredients: 1 - 7 oz box Notta Pasta Lasagna; 1 - 15 oz container ricotta cheese; 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided; 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese; 2 eggs; 1/2 teaspoon salt; 2 large jars pasta sauce or homemade; Optional: 1 lb bulk Italian sausage or ground beef, cooked, crumbled and drained. Preparation: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. 2. Beat ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and salt in bowl until combined. Set aside. Assemble: When layering lasagna, overlap sheets slightly. Spread 1 cup sauce in 9 x 13 inch pan. 2. Layer 4 uncooked rice sheets, 1 cup sauce (1/2 ground meat) half of ricotta mixture and 1 cup mozzarella. 3. Repeat step 2. 4. Layer 4 uncooked rice sheets and remaining sauce. To Cook and Serve: 1. Cover tightly with foil. Place baking dish on baking sheet. 2. Bake 1 hour, until bubbly. Remove aluminum foil and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese. 3. Bake uncovered an additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
