CELEBRATING WOMEN IN THE MEZCAL INDUSTRY - Se Busca’s inspiration comes from the brave women who fought and broke through cultural barriers during the Mexican Revolution of 1910-1920. Eleana Nuñez oversees production and export, Doña Mary and Doña Yuri participate in the Fermentation process, Azucena leads the bottling and Diana our lead chemist is in charge of the liquid profile.
AN INTENSELY FLAVORED MEZCAL - Se Busca Madrecuishe is a wild-varietal mezcal made from 100% fully grown wild-harvested Madrecuishe agave, roasted in an earthen pit, crushed with a Tahona stone and double-distilled in traditional copper-pot stills. Due to the agave’s dense heart and low water content, Se Busca Madrecuishe offers an intensely flavored mezcal.
HANDCRAFTED AND ARTISANAL SMALL BATCH MEXICAN MEZCAL - Se Busca Madrecuishe is a limited production mezcal distilled in the mountains of San Juan del Rio, Oaxaca at the Lopez Sosa Distillery. This family-owned Palenque has been crafting mezcal for over 200 years.
ECO-RESPONSIBLE APPROACH - Se Busca Madrecuishe is crafted from the wild and fully matured 12-year old Madrecuishe agave. For each wild agave harvested two are planted.
TASTING NOTES – the nose is of white pepper, wet hay, Cerignola olives, ripe tropical fruits; the flavor has hints of acacia honey, black plantains, candied ginger, grilled pineapple, charred Serrano peppers, Malabar peppercorns, Thai basil, and faint smoke; the finish is medium-long, with pickled jalapeño, braised, celery, Aleppo chilies, and lingering smoke. It can be enjoyed neat with a slice of orange.

- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.

- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
