The rich and hearty flavor of our thick cut bacon needs no bells and whistles, although our signature dry-rub certainly adds that impeccable zip our flagship bacon has become famous for. Our pigs take longer to grow and mature, which means they have extra fattiness. That leads to more marbling, and even more tender meat with better flavor. To lock in that juiciness, we slow smoke our bacon using real hardwood, that's the Tender Belly way.
