Butter Buds® are made by blending butter extract (modified butter oil and spray dried butter) with other natural food ingredients. Natural butter flavor is locked into the extract by a special patented process that separates out the fat and water. The extract is added to natural ingredients which dissolve in water to provide a soluble, easy-to-use product.
When all you want is the taste of butter with far less calories and no cholesterol. One liquid serving contains: 5 Calories, No Fat, No Cholesterol. 1 Tablespoon equals 1/2 fluid ounce.
Fewer Calories than Butter and Margarine: Butter Buds® contains 5 calories per tbsp of liquid; Butter contains 100 calories per tbsp; Margarine contains calories 100 per tbsp.

Maltodextrin (A Natural Carbohydrate Derived from Corn), Natural Butter Flavor (Milk), Salt, Dehydrated Butter (Adds a Dietarily Significant Amount of Fat and Cholesterol.), Guar Gum (a Natural Thickener)and Baking Soda.
Directions
1. Mix one packet with 1/2 cup (4 oz.) hot water in mixing cup. 2. Stir vigorously with fork to fully dissolve. 3. Pour to serve or use in recipes. (1 packet makes 4 ounces of liquid).
How to use instead of butter or margarine: Pour over cooked vegetables. Use as a topping for baked potatoes, rice, noodles and pancakes. Mix into casseroles, sauces, gravies, and doughs. Butter Buds liquid mixtures should be refrigerated and used within 3 days. After refrigeration, Butter Buds liquid may be reheated in a microwave oven or on a stove top. Note: Butter Buds should not be used for frying.

- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
