      Toasting Coconut Is Easy. Just Spread Baker'S Angel Flake Coconut Evenly In Shallow Baking Pan. Bake At 350F For 7 To 10 Min. Or Until Lightly Browned, Stirring Frequently. Or, Spread In Microwavable Pie Plate. Microwave On High 3 Min. Or Until Lightly Browned, Stirring Every Minute. Watch Carefully As Coconut Can Easily Burn!

      How To Tint Coconut:

      Mix 1/2 Tsp. Water With A Few Drops Of Food Coloring.

      Add To 1 Cup Baker'S Angel Flake Coconut In Resealable Plastic Bag; Seal Bag. Shake Until Coconut Is Evenly Tinted. Use More Food Coloring For A Darker Shade And Les Coloring For A Lighter Shade.

      Storage Know How:

      Store Unopened Packages Of Baker'S Angel Flake Coconut At Room Temperature. After Opening, Place The Package In An Airtight Container And Refrigerate Or Freeze For Up To 6 Months.

I HAD TO MAKE ABOUT 10 OF MY CAKES FOR DIFFERENT FAMILY'S, BUT I COULD TELL THAT IT WAS'NT THE SAME AS THE OTHER PACKAGE.         I've been using this product for years with no complaint. Excellent! In late 2018, the packaging was changed to a stiffer bag. Coconut product is drier and stuck in clumps. Please revert to prior packaging and quality coconut!!

        Most of my family and I love coconut, and this stuff is great in recipes. I could just open the bag and start eating. One major complaint, though, is that we no longer, ever find the small cans of Baker’ Coconut in stores, and some recipes were written in the good old days when we had more choice, less one-size-fits-all generalization of products, so that we could get the cans. I recall that the coconut in the can was typically much more moist, which worked better in some recipes. Other than lack of availability of the cans, the bagged coconut works well in most cases.

        I love this stuff but everytime i buy a bag it is stale. Even though I generally know this I still take a chance and buy it. When the bag is not stale it tastes like heaven. As a matter of fact, I am chomping on a stale bag now. Lol

        Love this product and use it very often to keep my grandchildren very happy! But as I have just turned 80, I find it harder to read the recipes on the inside if the boxes. They are printed in very pale ink with very small type. How about going w black ink?!
