        I bought some of your thick cut "Smithfield" bacon yesterday. It looked good in the package, but when I opened it, there was virtually no meat. There was at least 95% fat, 5% meat. After removing the fat I was left with eatable amounts to feed two adults one meal with breakfast.

        this is the second time I have tried the thick sliced bacon. It is absolutely not thick, it’s paper thin in fact, I can hold it up and almost see through it. And there’s a lot of fat, very little lean. and when you try to take the pieces apart, they shred in your hands. I am done with this brand.

        Over the years I have purchased thousands of dollars of Smithfeild products, however this was the worst excuse for bacon! I usually bake the bacon in the oven, and as I tried to separate the slices to lay in the pan they fell apart. The slices are so thin that it takes three of these if you can separate them at all to equal one regular slice of bacon. What a mess and what a rip off! Your quality on this leaves a lot to be desired.

        Do I write bacon reviews as a rule, NO, but this "bacon" was so bad I had to comment. I'm 70 and this is the worst I've had in my life. Mostly fat, slices were so thin they couldn't be separated. This is a direct reflection of your company's managers. You should be ashamed.
