  • 1/2-inch piece of ginger

Preparation

Boil the water.

While the water is boiling, squeeze the juice from one half lemon into a mug.

Peel and finely mince the ginger and add to the mug with the lemon juice.

Fill the mug with boiling water.

Let steep for 3–5 minutes, or until cool enough to sip.

Strain the ginger before drinking.
