  • 1 large orange, peeled
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 2 large or 3 small celery ribs
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground turmeric
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Small handful of fresh mint (Optional)

Preparation

Separate the orange into segments then chop the cucumber and celery into 1-inch chunks.

Place the orange, cucumber, celery, ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and mint, if using, into a blender.

Add 1/2 cup water and blend on high speed until very smooth, 1–2 minutes.

Strain through a fine mesh strainer, pressing the pulp with the back of a spoon to remove all of the juice.

Serve as-is or over ice.
