Garlic Mushrooms
Full ingredient list
- 16 ounces (1 pound) mushrooms, washed and patted dry
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder)
- 1 tablespoon butter (Optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (Optional)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste

Preparation

Slice your mushrooms into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Heat the oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat.

Add the mushrooms and toss with the olive oil. Let them sit for 4–5 minutes before stirring.

Stir the mushrooms and flip to brown both sides, then cook for another 2–3 minutes.

Reduce the heat to medium low and add the garlic and optional butter (for a richer flavor) and stir.

Continue to cook for another 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally until cooked.

Season with salt, pepper, and optional parsley.
